Thank you to The Franciscan Heritage Foundation

A HUGE thank you to The Franciscan Heritage Foundation and board member Mark Kasperczyk for visiting Mount Mercy today and presenting a generous gift of $5,000 to our Head of School, Michele Melligan.

Since 2021, The Franciscan Heritage Foundation has donated an incredible $24,000 to Mount Mercy Academy. Founded in 2018, the Foundation was created to carry on the Franciscan tradition of generosity and benevolence. In just a few short years, they have donated over $75,000 to Catholic schools across Western New York—including Bishop Timon-St. Jude, Cardinal O’Hara, Mount Mercy Academy, Notre Dame Academy, St. Mary’s Lancaster, and St. Peter and Paul in Hamburg.

We are deeply grateful to Mark and the Foundation for helping us provide the gift of education to our students. Mercy’s mission is possible only because of the generosity of our donors—we truly cannot do it without you!
