Student Life

Mount Mercy Academy offers a vibrant, opportunity-filled environment: challenging academics, a wide variety of activities, and students who bring a diverse range of ideas and opinions to the community. To be a Mercy girl is to work hard, learn from others in a positive, supportive environment, to become involved in the life of the school, make lasting friendships and have a lot of fun along the way. We believe in the importance of balance between work, prayer and fun.
MMA is a place where young women are encouraged to step up as leaders every day. From leading a group through the wilderness on a photo scavenger hunt to standing up for student rights at school, Mercy girls are making their voices heard.
It's all here: Spirit Week; peer ministry; hallway conversations; prom and other dances; participation in soccer, basketball, volleyball and golf or one of our many other sports, or just attending the games; student government; hands-on internships at Mercy Hospital; peer tutoring; and dozens of other activities that are part of the school experience.
Student life at MMA equals excellence, hard work, faith and service, fun, and participation in the school and community.
