The Catherine McAuley Distinguished Alumna Award is presented to an alumna of Mount Mercy Academy who has distinguished herself as a woman of faith, knowledge, integrity and compassion.  A woman whose accomplishments in all areas of her life - family, community, career - reflect the legacy and mission of Catherine McAuley, the Foundress of the Sisters of Mercy.

The Spirit of Mercy Award is an annual presentation of Mount Mercy Academy to one who exhibits the Spirit of Mercy in their professional and personal lives.  The recipients are honored for their outstanding commitment and dedication to their community.

The Sister Sally Walz Memorial Award is presented to a woman, strong in Faith, who is distinguished in her family and career, a woman who shares her talent with the Mount Mercy Academy community, a volunteer who brings that generosity of time and talent that marked Sister Sally’s life. This award is given to an alumna who, like Sister Sally, has “an expansive heart that is always welcoming and a generosity of time and talent for what needs to be done.”

The Mercy Devotion Award is presented to a faculty or staff member at the Academy who has served as an inspiration for and has earned the respect and admiration of students and colleagues over the years.

The Mount Mercy Academy Athletic Excellence Award honors individuals who have accomplished outstanding athletic achievements during their time at Mercy.  In addition to athletics, recipients have represented themselves in leadership, good character and commitment both professionally and in their community. Award recipients are inducted into the Mount Mercy Academy Athletics Hall of Fame.
