On Mercy Day, one of the most meaningful moments was the Senior Pinning Ceremony, held during our school-wide Mass. Each senior was presented with the Mercy Shield pin, a crest adapted from the historical coat of arms of the Sisters of Mercy. The shield is more than just a symbol—it represents our shared heritage, values, and commitment to living out Catherine McAuley’s legacy of compassion and service.
As faculty and classmates looked on, the seniors proudly received their pins, marking a milestone in their Mercy journey. They will wear these pins on their uniforms for the remainder of the year, a visible sign of leadership, unity, and the special role they hold within our school community.
The ceremony was both moving and joyful, reminding us all of the strength of our Mercy family and the bright future our seniors carry forward.
