Music Department puts on Spring Show

The Mount Mercy Academy Music Department put on their Spring Show last week entitled, “Spring is Sprung”. It featured a variety of different music from the early 2000s to present day hits. The setlist for the show included songs by popular artists like Billie Eilish, TLC, and even an original tune by the Mount Mercy Academy Sparks’ very own Student Director, Amelia Cook.

The show included performances from Mount Mercy’s Chorus, Dance Classes, Sparks (our A capella group), handbell choir, and Senior solos. The night was an emotional event, as the Seniors celebrated their last Mercy concert, and the underclassmen sang with them for the last time. We are so proud of our Music Department students as they share their wonderful gift of expressive art with our Mount Mercy community. The talent at Mercy is out of this world!
