Grateful for our Teachers!

Last week, we had the joy of celebrating our incredible faculty and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week and what a beautiful week it was!

Every single day, our teachers and staff members live the Mission of Mercy through their dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to educating and empowering our girls in the spirit of Catherine McAuley. They consistently go above and beyond in countless ways, pouring their hearts into our students and creating the extraordinary Mercy experience that makes our school community so special.

Throughout the week, students shared heartfelt testimonials and messages of gratitude during our daily announcements, recognizing every faculty and staff member for the impact they make each day. Students also created thoughtful thank-you cards for every member of our faculty and staff, small gestures that reflected so much love and appreciation for the care, guidance, and encouragement they receive throughout the year.

Our faculty and staff were celebrated all week long with special treats and surprises to show just how valued they are. The week kicked off with breakfast in the teachers’ lounge, followed by our “Beep Beep” pick-me-up cart delivering snacks and treats directly to classrooms throughout the day. Faculty and staff also enjoyed a wonderful luncheon sponsored by our amazing PTA. We are especially grateful to Michelle Moritz and Dana Seifert for coming to school to facilitate and take care of every detail. Our PTA continuously goes above and beyond for our community, and we are so thankful for their generosity and support. Additional appreciation carts filled with fun gifts and treats brought smiles throughout the week, and the celebration ended on a sweet note with an ice cream social during lunch periods in the teachers’ lounge.

To our administration, faculty, and staff: thank you for all that you do. Your dedication, care, and Mercy spirit inspire our students every single day. We simply could not provide this incredible Mercy experience without you.
