In partnership with ConnectLife, Mount Mercy Academy held a blood drive yesterday in honor of Miss Catherine Luhr. Our Mercy community came together and met our goal of 25 donors! Each donor was given a gift of a pack of Forget-Me-Not seeds to plant in memory of Miss Luhr. These donations save lives in WNY.
We were so excited to welcome Miss Luhr’s sisters to Mercy, who came together donate in Catherine’s honor. We thank them for their support!
Miss Luhr was a lifelong blood donor and passionate about saving lives through blood donation. She was the Connect Life Club Moderator during her time at Mercy, setting up blood drives at our school for many years.
