WNY Scholar Athletes Honorees

HUGE congratulations to our Mount Mercy Academy Senior Scholar-Athlete Award recipients! The 2025 All-Western New York Scholar-Athlete Team for the fall season includes 149 winners and 1,112 honorable mentions from more than 100 public and private schools across Western New York, with selections made by a dedicated committee. To be nominated, students must maintain a 90+ average over the previous six semesters and be a starter or significant contributor in their fall sport, an incredible achievement. These Mercy seniors truly exemplify teamwork, drive, dedication, and excellence both in the classroom and in athletics. Mount Mercy strives to develop well-rounded leaders, and we could not be prouder of these outstanding young women. Congratulations to our Scholar-Athlete winners: Taylor Ferris (Volleyball), Anna Thomasson (Tennis), and Kaelen Zarzecki (Golf). Honorable Mentions were awarded to Riley Coughlin (Volleyball), Emma Godsoe (Soccer), Olivia Gorczyca (Soccer), and Mara McCrea (Volleyball). Way to go!
