Class of 2026 Senior Induction Ceremony

Our Mount Mercy Academy Community celebrated a beautiful and meaningful tradition during our Class of 2026 Honors & Awards Assembly, the Senior Alumnae Induction Ceremony.

Surrounded by prayer, reflection, faculty, staff, families, and fellow alumnae, we officially welcomed the Class of 2026 into the Mount Mercy Alumnae Association, joining a legacy of more than 12,000 Mercy women.

Our Interim Head of School, Mrs. Margaret Staszak ’75, reflected on the lifelong bonds of sisterhood, faith, compassion, leadership, and excellence that connect generations of Mercy Girls. She reminded our seniors that no matter where life leads them, Mount Mercy will always be their home.

A special part of the ceremony included the passing of the “Light of Mercy and Hope,” led by alumna Lauren Caufield ’08. Candles were lit and shared from alumnae to our seniors, symbolizing the enduring spirit and mission of Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy, to be shining lights of hope, compassion, and service in the world.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We are so proud to welcome you into the Mercy alumnae family and look forward to all the incredible things you will accomplish.
