Last night marked the Class of 2026’s entrance into the Circle of Mercy, with the presentation of their iconic Mercy rings. It was a beautiful prayer service and ring presentation. Thank you to Mercy alum Heather Docherty Przybyszewski ‘94 for giving an amazing reflection. Heather is also the mother of Junior Claire Przybyszewski who received her ring last night. Our Junior Class was able to share this special evening together, just one of the incredible traditions at Mercy. We hope you always wear your ring proudly.
The ring, designed in 1916 … a circle, representing the unity of all Mercy graduates; the gold for loyalty to school, country and church; the blue band asking the protection of Mary, Mother of God, model of all women of faith; the seven pearls which represent faith, hope, charity, obedience, humility, patience and joy. The Mercy ring has not changed in 109 years and has remained recognizable to alums all over the world.
Congratulations Class of 2026!
