I wasn’t looking for a new game, but Connect Master found me at 11pm and here we are. It’s a visual logic thing where you have to match four characters by a hidden detail. The faces are all different and some red herrings are sneaky. I like that there’s no timer and no pressure. It’s just you and the board and a quiet challenge.
The reason I stayed with Meowdoku is that the cats are absurdly picky. No touching other cats, even on the diagonal. That means placing one cat can wipe out a huge chunk of the board. I've lost track of time just marking Xs and grinning when the final cat has nowhere else to go.
Was browsing for a game that feels like a physical toy. Marble sort delivers. The marbles roll and clink, the conveyor moves, boxes clear with a nice animation. I keep playing because every level is a new layout.
Colony Flow is one of those games I keep on my phone even when I have no data. The offline mode works great, and the levels don't need internet. I've replayed old levels just to improve my score. The core mechanic of pulling numbered blocks to direct ants never gets old for me.
I thought I was good at puzzles until this game humbled me. Game Is Hard makes you realize how much we assume about UI. Now I tap everything, even the battery icon. Still missing a lot but loving the ride.
