As many young adults move into their college homes for the fall semester, we want to celebrate one of our own. Congratulations to Isabelle Reaska ’25, a recent Mount Mercy graduate, who has been accepted to Harvard University.
Originally waitlisted, Izzy learned earlier this summer that she had been admitted and will soon head to Cambridge to continue her education. At Mercy, Izzy distinguished herself as the Class of 2025 Salutatorian, excelling not only academically but also as a star athlete, Student Ambassador, Student Body President, and National Honor Society President. She now adds Ivy League scholar to her already remarkable list of achievements. t Harvard, Izzy will major in Government/Political Science on a Pre-Law track.
Reflecting on this next chapter, Izzy shared:
“I’m beyond excited for the opportunity to make a second home out of Harvard Square and honored to be able to claim a part of the prestigious Harvard community this fall!”
We are incredibly proud of Izzy and all that she has accomplished. At Mercy, we believe our students can be anything—and Izzy’s story is proof that with hard work, dedication, and support, dreams become reality.
Congratulations, Izzy. We know you’ll continue to shine.
