Mount Mercy Academy proudly announces the Class of 2026 Salutatorian!
With the second-highest cumulative GPA in the Class of 2026, Claire Rogan has earned the distinguished honor of Salutatorian. We are incredibly proud of Claire’s dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence, all of which have defined her time at Mount Mercy. She is a driven and accomplished student who leads with both confidence and humility.
Claire will be attending the University at Buffalo in the fall, where she plans to study Chemical Engineering. Her academic achievements have earned her both the Pride of New York Scholarship, awarded at $5,000 per year, as well as the highly competitive New York State Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Incentive Program, which provides full tuition.
During her time at Mercy, Claire has been a strong and consistent leader within the school community. She has served as both Junior and Senior Class President and as Vice President of the National Honor Society. Claire has also been an active member of the Science and Healthcare Academy, the Business Academy, and the Leadership Academy, and has represented Mount Mercy as a Student Ambassador.
Outside of school, Claire is an accomplished Level 8 competitive gymnast. Her dedication to the sport has led her to become a New York State Champion on Bars, Beam, and All-Around. In addition to her own athletic success, Claire serves as a head coach for Levels 2 and 3 gymnasts, where she mentors and inspires younger athletes through her leadership and passion for the sport.
Claire Rogan has made a lasting impact on the Mount Mercy community through her academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to her pursuits both in and out of the classroom. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and look forward to seeing the incredible things she will achieve in the years ahead.
Congratulations, Claire!
