Christmas Community Walk
On Friday, our students participated in our Annual Christmas Community Walk, spreading holiday cheer right here in our own neighborhood!
We visited local businesses and organizations to deliver handmade Christmas cards and ornaments, sang Christmas carols, chatted with community members, and thanked our first responders for all they do.
Highlights from the day included, reading books to children at Kiddie Corner Day Care and Lorraine Academy, visiting Buffalo Fire Station Engine 4 and the Buffalo Police A District, bringing gifts and heartfelt thanks. We also went to the United States Post Office – Southside Station, gave back through community service at the Tosh Collins Centerand we sang songs at Dog Ears Bookstore and Park Edge Sweet Shoppe.
It was truly AMAZING! Our students and community love this tradition, and it perfectly reflects our Mercy Mission of giving back. What better way to celebrate Christmas than by serving our own neighborhood?
Merry Christmas, everyone!
