How to reliably mount Google Drive on Mac without crashing?
Hi! I've recently been trying to integrate my Google Drive with my Mac for easy access to files directly from Finder, but I'm running into persistent issues: sometimes the drive doesn't mount automatically, and when I try to mount it through Terminal, I get access or authorization errors.

I was in exactly the same situation after switching to a Mac — I wanted Google Drive to behave like a regular folder in Finder, without having to constantly open the browser. I ended up using CloudMounter to mount google drive mac, and it really made my life easier. You install the app, connect Google Drive, and the drive immediately appears in Finder as a local drive. You can open, copy, and edit files in any program, just as if they were on your Mac. I especially liked that I didn't have to sync everything and waste space: files are downloaded as needed.
