Mount Mercy Academy's Strategic Plan 2014-2017

IN THE SPIRIT OF CATHERINE McAULEY'S MISSION TO EDUCATE YOUNG WOMEN, MOUNT MERCY ACADEMY AIMS TO BE THE SCHOOL OF CHOICE FOR STUDENTS OF EVERY CULTURE AND ECONOMIC BACKGROUND AND TO PROVIDE A HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION WHILE REMAINING AFFORDABLE AND FINANCIALLY SUSTAINABLE.

GOALS

1.   MISSION INTEGRATION

Within a nurturing community, Mount Mercy Academy educates leaders, young women who live mercy and seek justice.

2.   ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Mount Mercy Academy guides its students to academic excellence, social development and spiritual growth, providing opportunities for students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for success.

3.   FINANCIAL STABILITY

Resources are allocated so as to enable and motivate actions that enhance academic excellence.  Mission-based goals are supported through the expansion of non-tuition sources of revenue and the establishment of cost-effective investments in support systems and infrastructures.

"Mount Mercy has taught me some of the most important things in my life and I am so grateful for that. I know that incorporating the principles of a woman of Mercy has made me the best version of myself. I can only hope that in the future, I will continue to grow and teach others the valuable lessons that I was taught at Mount Mercy. While I have learned so many things here, the greatest thing by far that I have learned is that DNA does not always make a family, love makes a family and that is exactly what I have gained here, a second family."
