Mount Mercy Academy

National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

Mount Mercy Academy's National Honor Society honors our Mercy girls with a blue stole. These stoles haven't been updated in 15 years. Each stole is $25.00 and is an important symbol of academic achievement to our students who wear them proudly.

We appreciate your support of NHS and your generosity. Please contact Pat Burns, NHS moderator with any questions about the program or stoles at 825-8796 or at pburns@mtmercy.org. Thank you again.

"Mount Mercy has taught me some of the most important things in my life and I am so grateful for that. I know that incorporating the principles of a woman of Mercy has made me the best version of myself. I can only hope that in the future, I will continue to grow and teach others the valuable lessons that I was taught at Mount Mercy. While I have learned so many things here, the greatest thing by far that I have learned is that DNA does not always make a family, love makes a family and that is exactly what I have gained here, a second family."
