Mount Mercy Senior Named Community All-Star
Buffalo Business First and Independent Health are proud to honor the 14th class of Community All-Stars. These seniors, 86 in all, were identified by their high schools as exemplary community servants and leaders. Every public and private high school in Western New York was given the opportunity to select one student who has had an impact in the community.
Megan Reilly of Buffalo has been honored as Mount Mercy Academy’s Community All-Star. She was the Student Government President, a member of National Honor Society, a McAuley Scholar as well as a four-year member of the soccer, basketball and track teams.
Some of Reilly’s volunteer service included volunteering for the school as a student ambassador, working at benefits and picnics to raise money for those in need. Despite the pandemic, Reilly was able to find ways to continue her volunteer work. She will attend Mercyhurst University in the fall and intends to major in sports medicine with a concentration in physical therapy.
