It will be a momentous occasion when Mount Mercy Academy presents its annual Christmas Concert on Thursday December 20th at 7:30 PM in the Mercy Center Auditorium.  This will be the 40th Christmas Concert directed by Mount Mercy’s renowned Music Director Fred Kirisits.  Mount Mercy’s Freshman Choir, Women’s Choir, Pure Magic Show Choir and Magic Belles Hand Bell Choir will perform that evening. Tickets are three dollars for students and senior citizens and five dollars for adults.  Tickets will be available at the door.  Doors will open at 6:30 PM. The concert will be professionally recorded by Mark Custom Recording and CDs will be available for ten dollars.

Mount Mercy’s Women’s Choir, Pure Magic and Magic Belles have consistently earned top honors in the competitions that they have entered.

"Mount Mercy has taught me some of the most important things in my life and I am so grateful for that. I know that incorporating the principles of a woman of Mercy has made me the best version of myself. I can only hope that in the future, I will continue to grow and teach others the valuable lessons that I was taught at Mount Mercy. While I have learned so many things here, the greatest thing by far that I have learned is that DNA does not always make a family, love makes a family and that is exactly what I have gained here, a second family."
