Pj Day at MMA

by cnewman

On February 18th, Mount Mercy Academy was closed for Mercy students but OPEN for the community - grade school age girls to be specific. Over 100 girls attended Mercy's first-ever PJ Day - a fun, camp-style day of activities and girl bonding.

The day started with yoga and ended with a movie in the gymnasium. In between, the attendees, partnered with Mercy student volunteers, played games, made crafts but most importantly - made new friends.

The next event open to this same age group is Little Sister Day (March 27th) and Camp Mercy (July 6-10th) ! Check our website www.mtmercy.org for more information!

"Attending Mount Mercy Academy is one of the best decisions I could have made. Since day one they have challenged me academically, to strive and succeed. For the past two years at Mount Mercy, I received so much help from all the teachers. They are always open to help me with any questions I have. My teachers have even taken time whenever they can to help me to do well with upcoming tests and quizzes. With their help I have been on both honor rolls, and have been a scholar athlete."
