Celebrating Mount Mercy Academy's 110th Commencement

On May 29, 2014, Commencement will be held for the 110th graduating class of Mount Mercy Academy. The ceremony will be held in the Mercy Center Auditorium at 7pm, following a procession down Red Jacket Parkway. The Class of 1964, celebrating their 50th reunion, will form an honor guard as the graduates process through the front doors.
Caitlyn Matuszak (right) has been named the valedictorian of the Class of 2014. She will deliver the valedictory address, preceded by Isabella Spann (left), named salutatorian, giving the welcome address.
100% of the Class of 2014 are accepted to college and earned a total of over $10.5 million in scholarships and merit-based grants. On average, each Mercy graduate from the Class of 2014 will have earned $145,000 in scholarships for college.
Some of the acceptances from the Class of 2014 include: Fordham University, University of Notre Dame, Northeastern University, Purdue University, Cornell University, Carnegie Mellon University, Rochester Institute of Technology, SUNY Oswego, John Carroll University, King's College, St. John Fisher, Marist College, Niagara University, University at Buffalo, Daemen College, LeMoyne College, Bard College, Ithaca College, Boston College, Boston University, Nazareth College.
