The St. Catherine Art Gallery is a place where students and Alumnae display their works of art. Mercy hosts many art shows throughout the school year.

Our Music Program boasts an award winning handbell choir, the "Magic Belles" and an enthusiastic and entertaining show choir, "Pure Magic." The Mount Mercy Academy Woman's Vocal Choir enlivens special occasions with the angelic voices of our music students.

For the artist: Mercy students can study drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, art history, digital photography and media, as well as preparation of their portfolio for college.
For the musicians: Mercy students can study music theory and learn piano. They can participate in the Pure Magic Show Choir, Handbell Choir, Chorus and/or Women's Choir.

"Mount Mercy has taught me some of the most important things in my life and I am so grateful for that. I know that incorporating the principles of a woman of Mercy has made me the best version of myself. I can only hope that in the future, I will continue to grow and teach others the valuable lessons that I was taught at Mount Mercy. While I have learned so many things here, the greatest thing by far that I have learned is that DNA does not always make a family, love makes a family and that is exactly what I have gained here, a second family."
