Vision of Mercy

Vision of Mercy

 Purpose: review, approve, scheduling, implementation of service and charitable fundraising projects involving students that are supported school wide

Membership: moderators and students from identified MMA student organizations: National Honors Society, Student Government, Mercy Outreach, Mercy Speaks and may include other organizations as requested by them

Process

Using an application submitted by students, faculty or others, Vision of Mercy will:

1.      Discern and select proposals that characterize Mount Mercy’s Mission Statement or Mercy’s Educational Hallmarks

2.      Assign a timetable to selected proposals that complement the school’s schedule taking into consideration all accounts of the school calendar. 

3.      Implement projects by integrating all student organizations.

a.     IF another student group or person has proposed the approved idea, that group/person will be invited to sponsor the project, but it must be integrated via Vision of Mercy.
