Arts

At Mount Mercy Academy, the arts have always been an important part of student life. The Fine Arts program provides every student with foundational instruction, and develops the natural talents in those who have a special inclination for the arts. The overall objective of the program is to empower its students to succeed not only on stage and in the studio, but to provide them with the confidence to excel in many endeavors with the positive self-image developed through participation in the arts. Students are encouraged to explore their creative gifts and share their talents in music, art and theater.

Music

Our Music Program boasts an award winning handbell choir, the "Magic Bells" and an enthusiastic and entertaining show choir, "Pure Magic." The Mount Mercy Academy Woman's Vocal Choir enlivens special occasions with the angelic voices of our music students.

Art

Our art program is taught by talented and highly respected artists, who encourage students to enhance their creative vision and imagination by crafting original and inspirational works of art. Student work is exhibited at an annual Art Show open to friends and family as well as on display throughout the hallways of Mount Mercy Academy.
